I just had to share this story with you all. It's such an inspiration, that has got a guy out of the office and out on his bike. Quote:

Since I bought my electric mountain bike I have now lost a total of 52lbs in weight, I am the same weight now as when I left the Merchant Navy, I am fitter, stronger and even better looking if that’s possible, well that what my wife tells me. All this and I am saving money and the planet, it really doesn’t get any better.

Loosing weight through the use of riding a pedelec is something that I have seen mentioned several times recently. It's an odd concept to think about when associating an electric bike to the clear and obvious health benefits that go with it. I think that unless you have experienced this benefit (I have ) then many won't sadly actually believe it.

Yes too true Eddie. Although you can see in the pictures within the article the before and after in terms of this guy's shape and how much he has changed in a year. Losing almost 4 stone is a mighty achievement!
