Another broken throttle

Broken yet another thumb throttle. This time the lever simply snapped off and cracked the ourt plastic ring into the bargain.

I have another spare but, due to the way my contoller and wiring is mounted and waterproofed, its a pig to take apart and put back together again

Question is - is anyone aware of a good quality thumb throttle available anyhere ??

Which one do youu have. I might have a spare of the broken piece, which only takes a couple of minutes to fit if you have four hands and three thin knife blades.

Thanks -much appreciated but as I use bike for commute I will need to repair tonight. I do have one spare.Its a bog standard thumb throttle ring. No switches or LEDs or anything (iordered spare of ebay months back and is identical to the one in 8fun kit)

I recently fitted an 8fun kit..... are the thumb throttles in that kit prone to breaking after a short while then ?

I've never broken a thumb-throttle, and I've broken several full-width ones. They're all plastic, so can be broken by mistreatment or accident.

Kirstin, I only have the bigger ones with LEDs and switch, sorry.
