If you've only done them hand tight, that's probably the cause of the problem. What's worse is that that creaking damages the thread until the pedal falls off leaving you with a bill for a new crank.

I've done them as tight as physically posable. To the point where there's an imprint of an allen key on my palm

just a thought. If you sit on the bike, squeeze the brakes then push on the left crank and hear it creak. Otherwise, the noise could come from elsewhere. Can you try it and let us know?

Sorry took me so long. The creak seems to disappear and appear after random tightening of the cranks.

I applied the brakes and applied pressure on the pedals but didn't hear any creaking

Worse comes to worse. I take it into a bike dealer and get them to look at it.

it could well be that the creaking noise dows not come from the crank but from loosened spokes. I'd ping all the spokes to check if any spoke grinds against another and tighten up all the slightly loosened spokes a quarter turn just to eliminate a possible source. It's often the case after the first few hundred miles as the wheels settle, some spokes may need doing up.

Just on a ride. I've discovered it doesn't really happen with no power. And seems to get incrementally worse as you go up the levels. And is worse on level 5. I'm pretty sure the sound is coming from the crank. Left leg down. No creaking when no force is applied to the pedals. Only when I'm actively cycling.

I would put some grease on the chain to eliminate the possibility that the noise comes from irregular contact between chain and ring.

I haven't yet put grease on the chain. But here are latest updates...

It doesn't creak when the motor is off or on level 1. It does creak when on level 1 and throttle is applied. Only when pedalling.

It will also creak (not as loud) when throttle is on and I pedal backwards with force the best I can. But will not creak when pedalling backwards when motor is off.

It doesn't seem to matter how loose or tight the silver bolts are. The creak is exactly the same. It creaks when they are off!

Still creaking on the left pedalling being down.

It's getting quite annoying now.
