Any Specs for the New BMW Pedelec?

Last July BMW announced

an innovative electrically-assisted bicycle, the Pedelec, will debut on the Olympic and Paralympic fleet.

I have tried to search this forum for information but the search engine does not handle 3 letter words, and using google to search the forum only finds refernces to cars.

Surely someone here has got some information about the new BMW bike's spec. which will be in use here in 2 months time.

Good to see LOCOG supporting British industry for the London Olympics - surely they could have called on the services of one of our excellent eBike companies rather than that renowned producer of pedelecs - not - BMW

Well what did you expect? You don't honestly think that Lord Nobody and his select bunch of, Olympic party revellers are in the least bit concerned about dirty handed, oily British Men and Women who make things for a living, do you?
