This is a programming cable for a Tongsheng TSDZ2/B mid-drive motor. These cables are not manufactured yet that I know of, and must be made yourself. Any other applications for flashing the motor may have other results.

Any one with OSF will already have a working cable/programmer.
Getting on for nearly £40 , much easier and so easy to make your own up.

I bought thecable from the USA a while back' but could not download the relevant file to programme my tdz. I wanted to change from 250w to 500,e

Might be your pc not allowing certain programmes to load , my w10 did this . Managed to dig out a smashed old w8 laptop which has adead battery that I hadn't thrown out, loaded first time so now use it soley for TSDZ2 osf.
Is it JAVA that is giving issues ?

Sometimes USB device connection problems can be resolved in Windows by uninstalling all USB drivers and rebooting. Windows will autodetect devices and reload drivers at boot.
