anyone had success with holts or simular tyre repair for there bicycled got fed up carring tubes

hi all quite a while ago purchased some poundland innertube repair stuff in pressuried can as I often got punctures on canal towpaths and thought this might save the hassle of repairing or fitting new tube until i8 got home.
got a puncture 700x28cc tube and found there was not enough pressure in the can to force the repair fluid into the tyre, had to go to nearby pup and borrow some spoons to fit the spare tube I had with me.
with my ebike its m+ and slime.
but have often wondered if anyones used the holts car tyre repair stuff on there ebike or bicycle with any succees £3.50 in wiilco for small medium car tyres

... My suggestion is to buy slime filled tubes at Halfords , They have an own brand tube at about a third price of the top brand. If you have the option I would recommend using the car valve type, rather than the presta type.

Slimes are the next best thing just keep high pressure and thorns won't be a problem

Will the kit convert normal rims and tyres to tubeless with out any problems

Would I have to buy new tyres?.

it will depend how tight a fit the tyre is on the rim if it is a tight fit then it should seal up just you wont be able to run lower psi in the tyre.

if it is a lose fit then you might get problems getting it to seal and end up using a lot more sealant to do the job.

even if the tyre is tl ready they still can be a pita to get on it just depends on the tyre and rim.

tho if you use more rim tape that will make the tyre a tighter fit and get more chance of a seal.

if you have a valve take the tube out and see if you can get the tyre up

2 of my ebikes have puncture resistant tyres +slime tubes or filled with slime 700c and 26mtb my subway however is 27.5 changen a tube yesterday small thorn in tyre 1500 miles covered prior to puncture.

decathlon do slime type tubes £3.99 but did not have 27.5 in shop
or £2 for normal I add half bottle of slime.
having seen the holts tyre sealant today just wondered if its worth carring one for longer journeys just in case of a mishap?
ill see what Halfords own brands have in stock

went to Halfords no own brand 27.5 there, went on to decathlon to find the store has shut down back to Halfords for non slime 27.5
