image.jpg apart from ebay I mean? The wire from the controller is a square male plug with three wires so I guess the throttle needs the female square end to work. Anyone know who sell them? The bike is the hopper shopper se AKA the viking e-go

I recently went the other way replaced the thumb throttle with a twist from Panda. Though even though the plug matched the wiring was the wrong way round. As a temp solution I just cut the plugs and used a normal everyday screw connector. It worked fine.

It's a one minute job to change the pins over. You just need a very small screwdriver (watchmakers type) to push down the barb, which stops it from coming out. If you have the small black type connector, its even easier because the barb is accessible from the outside, so you can hold it down with any pointy object.

The male / female plugs I have seemed to be sealed. Though noticed maplin do a set with purpose tool. At some stage before the nights draw in I want to upgrade the light wiring and also wondering if its possible to wire in indicators.

Scott Do you have a link for the throttle that you bought for yours? I think it will be a useful addition, and if I can get one that plugs straight in, then all the better....thanks

I got mine from Amazon mate had to lengthen the cable myself but it's plug and play so to speak it cost £6.50 I think it was it was the full throttle type just had to cut the handlebar grip off slide the full throttle one tighten with an Allen key and it was fitted. Take a look on Amazon there are lots for sale.

Just wanted to say the cable you can see going to the back of the bike on the picture is the charging wire not the throttle cable. The throttle is tied to the other cables with tie wraps.
