Ha - very funny :)
I fell for it...
£989: Lithium-Ion
Performance: 36 V / 6.6 Ah
Charge time: 7.5 hours
mmm... I don't think they are good value for money, no.

The e-bikes do look expensive at first sight so can't really be classed as good value for money. However, they are German brands and inevitably suffer the high prices we are familiar with from that market. Quality should be good though.

Sorry, I meant the non powered bikes
Didn't look at the ebikes.
Do the hardtail bikes have good components for the money, or are they just another Halfords wannabe.... Sorry Halfords

Very much a mixed bag from coupe of categories I looked at, including the clearance lines. There's a few good makes amongst them, but also names like "Serious" which I've never heard of and I suspect are "own brand name" Chinese buy-ins. If chosen with care there are some bargains.

It looks as though the few good names included might be loss leaders to help shift the unknown ones.

From previous posts in this forum, I know there are some member who speak highly of Halfords but I suspect those are the exceptions rather than the rule.

They're a big firm but in my experience, the the whole process of shopping with them in store is appalling so I prefer the street name they go by; ie, Halfrauds. It's they who should apologise; not you!
