Back on bike after the (long) winter.

Sorry if this question has been asked before, but I'm just about to dusk down my e-bike after being in storage for the last 5 months. Juice still left in the battery. So, my questions are:

1. Should I have drained the battery before I packed my ebike away for the winter, &
2. Should I now fully recharge the battery before I go off on my merry way )

Sorry if these are obvious questions, but new to the great sport of e-bikes

1 Never leave your battery in a drained state.
2 Yes. just charge it, and go out and have fun.
