Bafang 8 Fun rear hub clutch needed

Hi all,

I am looking for a clutch for the above I am not sure of the hub as dont have a number on it.
The clutch has the number HL1108 on it and it come off a byocycle chamelion about 2 yrs old.
I shall look further when time permits to see if I can find what hub it is.
Does anyone know where I can purchase one please.

It's a standard clutch with 28T gears. What's wrong with it?

you can get a new clutch unit from woosh for £10 + £3 postage. dsrolly got one for his motor.

Hi,
Thanks for the info.
The bike was making a whirring noise sometimes before taking up drive.
I checked and changed the 4 bearings and before I assembled it I found out from my friend that she took her boyfriend on the back up a steep hill outside their house without taking a run up. Its one of those hills which is very short and even hard to walk up. Basically a side of a mountain.
It rotates backwards ok and catches when you move it in the other direction as should but you can feel it going easier at times when it rotates backwards over the pawls than other so i am assuming some wear has taken place.
