After 5 years and nearly 5000 trouble free miles on the Batribike save for a new set of brake blocks, I decided to treat it to a battery re-cell and new tyres and tubes . When purchased the SE was a `run out` model and the 24V battery came with a capacity of 8Ah instead of the 10 Ah of the normal Quartz , saving £100 in the process . The re-cell was carried out in less than a week by INSAT International in N. London for £220 which included Samsung 18650 29E Cells , new BMS , new charger and carriage both ways , A bonus with these cells is that the battery capacity is now 11.47 Ah not 8aH as previously , Energy 287.82 Wh and Avg Voltage 25.09 . How do I know ? Well they kindly supplied me with a graph to prove it ! New Kenda tyres and tubes complete the` as new` performance . The Batribike Folder has gone back in time, but unfortunately I haven`t !
