Battery companies

Hi all,

I'm looking to get my bike battery re-celled and contacted eBike Batteries, but just waiting on a reply now.

In the meantime, I've just seen a company called County Battery advertising to repair bikes on eBay. https://www.countybattery.co.uk/battery-repair-service/lpx-e-bike-24-26volt-battery-repair-and-rebuild-service/

Anyone used them before and what are your thoughts on purchasing from them?

i doubt they have a 30k spot welder like jimmy uses but imo he is overloaded with work atm

I tried them last summer and they had no idea about ebike batteries they do mainly power tool batteries. So maybe they have employed someone with relevant expertise since then . i believe they are located on south coast. Prompt response to emails and seem very helpful might be a decent alternative to Jimmy

Never used them but they advertise a Bosch Powerpack 500 battery as 36v 8.7Ah, the genuine battery is 36v and 13.4Ah. Obviously at only approx 1/2 capacity they are not utilising correct capacity cells.

and you can only recell bosch batts if it has a working bms and you know what you are doing because the bms must not loose power while it is being done.

there is no mention of this on there web site and is the fist thing jimmy will ask you otherwise it is a waste of time.
