Battery experts opinion please

Hi all

Lovely day for a cycle - just have to wait till work is over

I have been considering this - a keen price for 48v 10ah lifepo4

I like the size as it will go in my triangle

Any obvious pitfalls I should be aware of with this battery or questions I should ask ?

Would be good if you could find out who the cells were made by, it would give you some indication of the quality. I have read of some people ordering cheap chinese batteries and the battery having one or two duff cells and then it is a nightmare getting it sorted out as you've got to send it back to china at which point the battery probably disappears into an abyss.

Personally I would make sure the cells are of a good reliable make and if they're not I wouldn't bother with it it's too risky.

There are many good cell manufacturers headway and ping to name but two, there are also several shoddy ones so be careful!
