Battery indicator

The battery power indicator on my bike is buit into the front light. I don`t like the front light and want to get rid of it but obviously still want a battery indicator.

Is there a way I can replace the front light with just a simple indicator panel?

Simple answer is yes.
But you'd probably need to cut and splice the wires into a new unit.

Could you remove the battery indicator from the light unit and mount it in another small box on the handlebars somehow?
