Was going to buy a cell-log as advised but then saw these Battery Testers and almost a third of the price. Anyone tried one? yes I know they wont record anything but will be a good quick check and a low cell alarm.

Not used those types but I've found you get what you pay for, the Cellogs work very well...

I have used the 2s to 7s type with programmable low voltage alarm, you can pick them up a bit cheaper on that known on-line auction site.
Can get a few 'false' alarms due to sag.How many lipo packs are you running ?

They do a cheaper cellog that does not store data. I have both types and they work very well.

As NRG states the cellogs are well proven. I tend not to use them for alarming more for checking charge and balance every so often

My current battery is a 7 cell lipo, which my wife will be getting soon, was just looking for something I could glue to side of case to let her know if its getting flat. She will not be getting that till I save my pennies up for my new one, which you guys are not helping as I keep swinging between A123 or headways.
