Think Frank has raised a good point,[see introduce yourself] how DO you know how old a battery is ? I bought my E-bike second hand, it has hardly been used, but I am unsure how old it is, I am assuming that the battery is the original, due to bike being little used, but there are no numbers on it at all, so how can I tell it's age ?.......sorry Frank not very good with electrics.............Del.

I replied about the charger on your original post Frank, you can see that on this link

As for battery age, it depends on the manufacturer whether it's age can be determined easily. Check any labelling and if it's made by Phylion, let me know the full serial number with the letters as well as the numbers. (Not the type number)

That's very common with Chinese made batteries Del, it's chiefly their top battery manufacturers like Advance, Lishen and Phylion who give more markings. It's a pity more customers don't keep their invoices and pass them, or an edited copy, on to subsequent buyers.
