Battery voltmeter reading 37v is the battery nearly flat.

Hi my 10ah bottle battery now about 3 years old reads about 41 when fully charged , just done 20 miles
2 bars on display, voltmeter reading 37v So assume battery is nearly flat.

37v is half way down on voltage and about 60% down on capacity. You could have done about 15 more miles, though you would feel the assistance going down as the battery runs down.

Thanks vfr. Battery level display shows about 8 bars when fully charged is now showing 2 bars and sometimes drops to one bar, back up to 3 when rolling and not peddling.

i dont think i have ever run the battery right to zero on display as i worry i wont get home.
I will take a spare battery with me, and see if i can get any more miles out of battery ,over the 20 miles covered.

Today did a further 10.8 miles , the last few meters the battery was not giving any assistance, voltmeter reading was 33 v.

all of the 30.8 miles covered was in sport mode, one small hill, some throttle mainly flattish

Thanks nealh. At 71 i neen to use sport mode most of the time, i have a enerprof 13 ah battery pack , which i can use in connjunction with the 10ah battery.

i am going to fully charge the 13ah, and see what the range is like. Thank you
