I can only speak from personal experience, our mileages are similar i'm just under 40 miles round trip. I only have a bionx 6.4A/hr battery and i charge at work so in theory i have double the charges you have. I can honestly say that i have noticed no decrease in the battery capacity over the year and fully expect another 3 years out of it. I know different batteries have different quality but they are not that different so i would say the battery has failed under warranty.

Well, I have spoken to Bearprint again today and was advised they do have batteries in stock after all.
It seems that they have some new larger 18ah capacity batteries in stock which are 2" taller than my 16ah battery.
I suggested that perhaps I could upgrade to this larger battery but because it is improved and not "like for like" perhaps pay a fee to cover the upgrade - maybe also pay for delivery as well.
Bearprint have asked me to call back on Monday again.
I am fairly short so the height of the battery pack is important as it will need to fit under the seat set for my height.
After measuring my current setup I believe that there is just enough room for the taller battery.
I will give further updates as things unfold.
Barry.
