Given all my playing around with batteries and kits think its about time I treated myself to a decent bench variable power supply :p

Seems you can pick up a 36V one pretty cheap.

DC Bench Power Supply Switch Mode Adjustable 0-30V 0-3A CSI 3003SM | eBay

This one is switched mode though. you can also get a 5A version. Given most my packs are 5s Konions or 6s A123s then it needs be at least 20.75/21.6V.

That said I like the option of maybe connecting direct ip to test motors/kits so looks like it would need to be at least 50V to mimic a full pack.

This then maybe means getting something like this ? These are the cheaper ones as you can pay £200 +

Adjustable Linear DC Bench Power Supply 0-50V 0-3A Variable CSI5003XE | eBay

Not sure I like the screw driver adjustment for current though.

Any thoughts ?

Regards

Jerry
