What Trex says.
He's mentioned a crank drive Woosh, hub drive bikes from Cyclezee are also reckoned to be strong climbers.
If you are seriously thinking about buying an ebike, think a bit more about what you need.
I have two Bosch crank drive bikes, they are reckoned to be good, but not outstanding, climbers.
Both bikes have enough power for me, I rarely use full boost on either and if I come across a really steep hill I am content to whirr up it in first gear.
You mention touring/trekking bikes, which suggests you are thinking about day rides.
During such a ride, you might only come across one or two - or no - steep hills.
So is outright climbing ability that important?
To most of us, the answer is 'no'.
