Is there a current favourite ? I'mbehind the times as it used to be the keyde or tongxin a few years back

are there better options now for front drive thin hub motors ?

Many thanks all

That's the one in my avatar if you want to see how small the rear version is.
Thanks awol, been researching like mad since Ak’s post. Astonishing small and ideal for my use tbh. There won’t be a better option (possibly a cheaper one )

I can’t find a uk or a kit supplier . Only way is bare motor and build afaik ?

I’d prefer to buy a kit (minus battery )or at least a wheel with the hub in , if possible . If not then it might be cheaper to change the forks on the bike and get a 100mm motor

Oh, I thought you meant thin in diameter, you mean thin, as in fitting length. Not sure on that, a couple of other members have purchased a front version though, if you can track them down and ask them for the size to double check before buying anything as these may end up being 100mm too.

BMSB Q70 or Q85, 85/83mm d/o or they have a scooter motor that is 55mm.
Bare hubs though.
