Bike light... good and bad

I've been buying few bike light that do not need dc-dc converter, here is the 3 I have:

Surprisingly, the most beautiful one with horn integrated is the one that does almost not provide light... And the less attractive is the best in term of brightness.

I think you missed a link. I tried a few of the different Banggood ones. It's difficult to see whether you have the LED10 or LED100. This one is the best of all until they get the LED200. It has two brighness levels, which you can select with a three position switch:

A bit expensive and a little bit big. But not too big and bright enough. Haven't found better yet.

and by the time it comes, there'll be another new better one. I've also got the LED10 one, which is as good as anybody needs. It's just that the LED100 has two power levels and is a bit brighter. I'll probably only ever use it on low power.

The light you mentioned doesn't look like having a mount on it. How did you mount it and what 3 position switch did you use?

I found that the 2 first lights were not bright enough, the led10 is good as it is now but I wouldn't say not for an high power beam when I go to some roads at night, especially in parks where there are no light at all and some pedestrians/potholes there and there

The LED100 doesn't come with any brackets. The heatsink unscrews from a threaded boss about 20mm diameter, so you drill a suitable hole in a piece of steel, unscrew the heatsink, poke the boss through the hole in the steel (or aluminium) and screw the heatsink back on until it clamps against the steel. If you get a piece of 1.6mm steel or 2mm aluminium anout 6" long and 30mm wide, you can make a 1 1/8" hole in one end and the 20mm (?) hole in the other, bend it at 90 deg in the middle, then you can thread it over your steerer tube under the stem. I'm just looking for some scrap steel for mine.

and it's unimpressive for its size. It mentions high/low beam but there is only 2 wires and no button. Do not buy
