Bike or kit? I have confused myself!

If you have £2100 to spend on a new e-cross KTM, spending £600 converting the Aspect leaves you with £1,500 in your pocket. You can then spend it on a very nice weekend push bike! plus the converted electric commuting bike will attract less attention from thieves too.
just a little tease, of course the e-cross is a gorgeous looking bike.

well I rode the E Cross P (Panasonic) and Race (Bosch) in a c8 mile test ride with E Motion tonight.
I so much prefer the Panasonic system and 27 gears...it gets there quickly and I did the same hill on both bikes and personally felt the panny trounced the Bosch system. I preferred the available gears (more of) and the Panny maintained a higher speed (and the same gear) up the hill, wheres I needed to change down on the Bosch.
The e race was more sure footed on the rough stuff but then it has off road tyres and they are fatter. Certainly on the trail the e cross was capable. On the road is where I'd spend more time.
A few days ago I tried a whisper which is also a rear hub. The panny is so much better and provides nicer feedback whilst being silky smooth.
400% assistance works a treat. Regen needs to be selected so not sure how often that would get used having to remember to switch it on before descending. I'd assumed pulling the brake lever would have selected it automatically (in auto mode).
The Bosch provides good input feeling and great output but the gear selection options are less. Its like have 27 gears but stuck on the 2nd front cog - if you get my drift?!
Thanks to E Motion in Swindon for a brilliant ride out trying all sorts of terrain and enabling me to switch bikes when I wanted to.
Heavy in comparison to my scott aspect but then we covered a fair distance in little time and got back feeling like I'd been on a bike ride but wasn't wobbly at all.
These things are so the future.
I suppose the next decision is whether I sell the Aspect, which might become a little redundant...
