Hi all,

We're going to introduce a minimum post count before members can submit bike reviews. As has been pointed out, someone will come on to post a review never to be heard of again.

We'll probably start at a minimum of 10 posts, but we will be looking at the content of those posts to make sure they are not just random fluff to push up the post count before a review goes live.

Maybe worth considering time as well. Leaving a month between a member joining and the review being accepted, give them a chance to try the bike out!

As a noobee here could not agree more. Hope to review both my bikes eventually but would like to establish my credentials first to make the reviews meaningful and in context

Cheeky monkey! You weight more then me!:p
I know, a lot more Eddie, but that wasn't my point (as I think maybe you know:D).

To bring the Elephant out of the room.......

Are we suggesting that someone maybe writing reports on their own bikes using an alias?

I think this will help the average Layman like myself, having a bit more confidence in personal reviews not being generated by comercial interests posing as genuine members.

That's interesting Eddie, I was not being over serious, I must have missed it, what was the thread?

Please PM me if you would rather.

If you are talking about me then im afraid you are barking up wrong tree. I work in IT and have nothing what so ever to do with cycle trade ( other than as a customer )

As i said i dont intend to review anything until i feel people will respect my opinion ( even if they dont agree with it)

Is there an elephant in the room or more accurately this thread??
I've previously identified two definite occasions of someone definitely involved with the business giving strong recommendations for their products in threads while presenting himself as a user. One I challenged on his third post of this nature and he disappeared then. I haven't identified it happening in a review yet though.

I don't think so Garry. Just looked at your thread seems fine to me.

All the best, welcome to the forum and happy e-biking!

David
Thanks. As a regular user of other forums i know how some people can be about enthusiastic noobees. Just posting as i see it. I will try and post a bit about me and my ebike experience so far when i get the time

Hi

I will be doing an honest review on my kudos but need to do some more miles first, not sure to make it short and sweet or go into detail, which is best.?

It would be nice if they cut the prices on the King, as they have on the Sport, Duke, and Duchess.

I'd say quite detailed Nigel, more widely useful and saves questions being asked.
