after a few months riding the e bike it was time to take out the much neglected regular bike to try out a track to see if suitable for the e bike.....

its a folding full size mountain bike...fits into the boot and weighs under 13kg...24 gears and disk brakes.......front suspension and suspension seat...

wow..... does it feel light compared to the e bike......

had a good ride....missed the assist on the inclines so this is definitely now a candidate for a kit....or a trade in for a mountain bike already fitted up with electric assist.......

the track was probably too rough overall for my e bike...so need this style of bike for this type of ride.......

Wow it's your Dahon. That's an earlier model than Espresso, a Zero-G / X500 I think?

Dahon folding mountain bikes - Zero-G and X500 models

It looks a better candidate for conversion than the Espresso with the sturdier front fork.

It must be strange riding unassisted if you're so used to it, I can't imagine riding now any distance without it even after only 3 months..
