I have a bike stand, a central one with 2 legs and it, just like yours, has become unstable.

I havent tried it but I was thinking about trying to insert some sort of washer or maybe a bit of old rubber between the stand and the bike, so see if that improves things

Hi I bought 2 off them for testing from china what can i say JUNK threw them in the bin when the bracket bent and the bike fell over

I would stick with Pletcher

PS the KS 13 will fit from 26 inch to a 29er just fitted one

The ones I have won't bend. They're the same as those fitted to many medium-priced electric bikes. The bracket is double thickness because it has a doubler that goes behind the chainstay. Was yours like that, Frank?

My stand comes from dutch bike bits. I have also had front and rear carriers from them.
Worth a look as they have vast amounts of bike accessories - good delivery service as well
Luggage Racks and accessories
Thanks for bringing that site to my attention. A lot of site and shops don't seem to cater for utility riders. I have an upright Smarta electric and a Dawes Mohave hybrid non-electric which is being slowly transformed into an upright. Some interesting parts, including B&M mirrors, the only sort that seem to work well on North Road bars.

As far as stands go, both my bikes have two-legged centre-stands, partly because they can stand side by side in my lean-to shelter, but also they seem easier to park a bike and more robust. Halfords sell a reasonable centre-stand at about £16.
