Hi All,

Just to let Pedelec members know that if either a KTM Macina Force 29 or Haibike Xduro SL turn up for sale
without a charger its possible they maybe the bikes that were stolen in a burglary this morning from my shop and they should probably steer clear.

I'd appreciate a heads up if any Pedelec member sees anything, thanks
Tom

Sorry to hear that Tom.
Eyes peeled. But they are distinctive premium machines so should stand out.

Sorry to hear that Tom. Hope it gets sorted out soon.

Michael

EDIT: The Haibike has the generation 1 Bosch system, doesn't it? As you know I cycle a lot around your neck of the woods so I'll keep my eyes peeled for the two.

Martin,I think it was an opportunist theft,both those bikes were Bosch powered,so they will need chargers,which are relatively (to a thief) expensive. They are clearly on CCTV,idiots really such bikes are not going to be easy to dispose of....they would have been better to have stolen expensive non electric bikes from next door,no complication with the chargers and not so conspicuous on the road,a Haibike in west London is quite rare.
They stole with their eyes not their brain!

Put search requests for them on ebay with daily notifications and they will eventually appear either there or on craigslist etc.
These people are obviously brain dead and wont expect you to look there!

That's a bummer Tom:(:mad::(

Just keep checking all the usual, eBay, Gumtree etc., etc.

Photos of the specific models and frame sizes may help.

Offering a reward for info leading to recovery might just encourage the membership to "keep em peeled"
