He might have worked in bomb disposal before he started doing batteries. That's why he can keep so cool when poking that screwdriver two millimetres from a dead short on 8 charged up cells in parallel.

How many amps could he have seen going through that driver blade if he had poked it just a tad the wrong way while he was raking about there? 30x8 amps?
