Bought a 2015 Haibike all mountain pro second hand and after a couple of rides the nyon unit packed up so took it into Haibike dealer for diagnostic.
Nyon unit is shot and been sent back to bosche so the shop fitted an intuvia and removed the speed restriction dongle (at my request). I got the bike back yesterday and went out on it today but the new intuvia reads 1380km on the odometer and has error code 503 with nothing else working on the intuvia besides the clock.
I have read on a previous post on here that it will be the speed sensor at fault but is it likely that the speed sensor has failed (worked before it went into shop) or connection has been disturbed removing speed dongle.
If its just the connection which side of the motor do you have to remove to get access?

its the side with out the sprocket on that you need to take off to get to the wires.
