You should visit a bookies, you aren't expressing opinions just telling us what will happen and apparently with 100% accuracy.
I have never visited a bookies in my life but am a regular investor, so following the news is what I do every day. I am not telling you anything new, just the logical follow up consequences of these events.

Not sure of numbers but I believe there needs to be over 50 letters of no confidence from ministers, so far they have had 2 confirmed and possibly a further 3.(unconfirmed) Things have got to get far worse for Johnson for it to be certain he's going. Starmer, Nandy and Rayner are convinced but notice the pattern Woosh.
Did you watch Newswatch last Thursday? There are currently 20 letters handed in to the 1922 committee. 15 of them were handed in last week.
Ministers can't hand in a letter of no confidence, he/she will have to resign first.

You are dreaming again Woosh. Yes, agreed BJ might go... Might. Then again.. Might not.
Starmer has to get Labour in power, not next week, not with polls as they are but when Tories call the election. At least 2 years away.
Starmer will never be PM.
I am a centrist, not a regular Labour supporter. I would vote for any moderate party.
Still, I think Starmer is a very acceptable PM, much more so than BJ or any other notable politician at the moment.

Disagree with you there. They all know that following him uncritically for the next two years could totally sink their careers.

E.g.

Tory MPs will be ready in sufficient numbers to force Boris Johnson out of Downing Street within weeks if he tries to dodge responsibility for rule-breaking parties at No 10, the Observer has been told.

While most Conservative MPs say they are waiting for a report into so-called “partygate” by the senior civil servant Sue Gray before deciding the prime minister’s fate, large numbers admit privately that their minds are effectively made up and that they are merely observing “due process”.
Nothing short of video of BJ getting a BJ while shoving his face into a huge mound of cocaine piled on his desk like Pacino in Scarface, will make a jot of difference! Or enough letters to the Tory Illuminati leadership... but they fear that the Indian munchkin, wooden lady or the Raabid one will fail them next time, so it'll be Capn' Boris to the end of the next GE campaign. But I could be completely wrong. Hunt vs Starmer would be marginally but evil neutral vs totally neutral - the electorate would suffer a pandemic of boredom.

The biggest asset he has is the lineup of hopefuls ready to replace him. It looks like a reunion of first week firings from the past decade of Alan Sugar’s The Apprentice.

Someone pointed out that Liz Truss has recently swapped her voice for a deeper more Thatcheresque styled one :D The big jobbie must be preparing herself for a big job!
Like many Hollywood actors, Sugar did a stint in Covid free Aus, noticed a few not so sweet Aus TV shows....

Maybe Truss has had her vocal chords altered? It's increasinly common for female CEOs and Hollywood talent to get their voices deepened. It's the tickbox next to "Vaginal rejuvenation", which I fear we'll never know if Truss has had done. I'm sure Mr.Honeyman may well greatly appreciate it, but not so much the baritone... unless Barry White is a turn-on. ;)

Hunt v Starmer is the best outcome for this country instead of continuation of this corrupt and chaotic government.

Starmer will not be voted for by enough "Natural" Labour voters, whereas the zombie gammon who habitually turn out in droves to automatically vote Tory, will usher Hunt into office. Everyone else will be bored to death. I can't wait long enough

(apologies to anyone here who self-identifies as Tory zombie gammon)

Sunday Telegraph says Carrie has apologised for breaking Covid rules...

Had been wondering when she would appear in her own right.

What this country needs is post-ww2 levels of taxation, a progressively increased manufacuring base; moving away from our absurd service-based economy, restricted imports of goods manufactured elsewhere, and far higher wages... but I'm sure not many would agree with me here.

Is that 20 from people who have confirmed publicly? Or an estimate?
Sorry for the misquote, source was not the BBC, but from a journalist invited by the BBC.

https://www.politics.co.uk/news-in-brief/roughly-20-conservative-mps-submit-letters-of-no-confidence-in-pm/

The number is now increased to 30 (source the DT):

Taxation has to be progressive but also competitive and commensurate with the needs of the country. We live in a capitalistic world where people and capital (especially intellectual property) can move fluidly, high taxation is counter-productive,

That's the price of globalisation, which there needs to be less of. How else can we possibly become self-sufficient for rare earths for ebikes, and everything else? Otherwise the Chinese will continue to buy up the world. Which is fine if you like MSG. And high tax wouldn't be forever - eventually our manufacturing base will be restored... but there needs to be much pain inflicted on wealthy businesses and individuals for the collective good of this country. But as I said, very few will agree with me, and it'll be a very long argument indeed which I've had many times before, and I hear the same objections over and over again and quite honestly, I don't have the time or patience these days to justify my point of view. Maybe when I retire (like hell).

Always seems absurd to me that whatever it is you wish to buy, from Yachts and Windsurfers to Cameras and ebikes and everything between there is virtually nothing made here.
Just bought Windsurfers from Slovenia, EBike kits and foil boards from China. Even including carriage, Vat and import tax we simply can't compete. It shouldn't be like that. The bike kits have scale of production to their benefit but the other things are small numbers, high quality products. Its ridiculous how our manufacturing has been destroyed.
Business secretary should be looking into it..???

I too have quite a bleak view of the electorate post brexit, but think the average voter does draw a line somewhere when it comes to blatant contemptuous sneering hypocricy. Came accross this
can see where lib dem leader of council is coming from. It will become increasingly untenable for boros not to resign

It was near Stroud that I actually fell asleep cycling... long straight roads for miles and miles and miles... a field of cabbages... cauliflowers... more cabbages... more caulis... more cabbages.. I fell asleep. I was trying to find a hill, but everywhere was as flat as a billiard table... cabbages... caulis... you are feeling sleepy...

I'll have to hotwire a Range Rover for a ram raid to get those ATCs! :p

Bet the magnets are Chinese though. ;)

I fear the reason that things are the way they are because of consumerism.
We want so many different products that no single country can satisfy the demand of its own citizens, not even the USA or China, two biggest world producers.

High taxes don't help attracting top companies to move here and to be the best, we need to attract the best.
On manufacturing, we have to choose our own specialism, may that be AI or pharma or jet engines or micro satellites. We can't be world beating at everything.
