Boris probably lied. I’ve never claimed he’s anything else but a liar. He’s a better option than Labour. That’s how bad Labour have become. You are living proof of Labour’s lunacy.
You are a clown aren't you? I have nothing whatsoever to do with the Labour Party, do you make these jokes of yours up all on your own?
Or just assume that anyone who opposes idiocy has to be a Labour supporter?

The only idiocy I am living proof proof of is my own
By the way why is he now pushing labour's policies? HS2 was a Labour suggestion in the first place remember?
And I would love you to explain how Boris is a better option, so far he hasn't made a good start, has he?

He didn’t. He put them on the plane.

He took 24 off because there is doubt over legal advice access. The other 17 were not in doubt.
Here is a little more detail
"
Glasgow-based The Unity Centre, a migration support group, said that it had spoken to 50 of the people on the flight. Of these, 49 had come to Britain as children. Many are carers for family members, have children and all have built lives in Britain.

“In one case a woman was taken at her home,” said Antonia. “The Home Office is saying that “whenever we decide to deport you we can just grab you.”

Cuts to legal aid in the 2016 Immigration Act mean that people making appeals against deportation decisions no longer qualify for legal aid.

Mounting a judicial review against deportation is very expensive and time-consuming. It requires resources that are not available to most people.

Corporate Watch estimates that each charter flight costs the British state £200,000. The British state will pay for deportations and detention centres while cutting welfare and services."

Fascinating: your faith in the British judicial system is touching
The Jamaican authorities have agreed to take them back, have they?
I checked; they have, now isn't that strange
In your view these are dangerous criminals, in their view they are happy to have them back

They did well to speak to 50 people on the flight. There was only 17. Did Diane Abbott count them? The other 21 (38 total) are being reassessed.

More left wing *******. Can’t even get the numbers right.

The Court of Appeal has halted the planned deportation of at least 50 people to Jamaica due to go ahead tomorrow saying they had not been allowed proper access to legal advice as they did not have working mobile sim cards while in immigration detention

So now what do you say, you really have a hang up with this "Lefty" thing, don't you?

I understand Chris Grayling is to be made the Minister in charge of delivering HS2 so those opposing it can relax.

Planes, Trains and Automobiles looks like an "everything went right" movie compared to his involvement in transport - ranging from car doors, seafreight, new timetable cockups, cancelling electrification in the north of England, to Gatwick drones. And there is not going to be a sentimental slushy ending. (Any slush will be causing transport chaos.)

Yes, HS2, a train company with no trains. Figures.

It will never be built, there's no possible economic case in the foreseeable future.

This government announcement is probably to deter thoughts of Scottish independence with something tempting for the future if remaining in union. Scotland couldn't contemplate the cost of building it themselves.
.
Most of us up here wouldn't want a bridge to Northern Ireland to be built. It would only really be busy in July and we don't want them coming over.

From the BBC:

Downing Street said 17 people were deported, but 25 others had been stopped because of the court order.

From your own link:
A Home Office spokesperson says 17 "serious foreign criminals" who were convicted of rape, violent crimes and drug offences have been deported from the UK adding "we will be urgently pursuing the removal" of individuals prevented from boarding the flight due to a legal challenge.

Hopefully that bogus challenge will be kicked into touch very soon.

These are the ones we are discussing.

OK, I was 4 out.

The 50 are subject of a future flight which hasn’t left yet, but hopefully it won’t be long before we rid ourselves of these additional criminals too.

As I stated. Diane Abbot number counting thingy.

The problem with HS2 is of course not the idea itself, but bitter experience of how Boris says one thing then does another, and from what one can gather from the press and internet, there is no Public enthusiasm for the project, though in this country the public do seem vulnerable to being conned into things not intended to benefit them, and now the full weight of Murdochs Empire will declare the virtues of Boris and his second hand vision borrowed from a Labour MP who first proposed the idea.
My take is that there is a great deal to do in the Leave camp to make Brexit less of an impending disaster and on a stable footing before bold projects are undertaken, for even the dimmest voter will see this grandiose project as a smoke screen to divert attention when things go wrong.
Do the ground work Boris, get a trade deal with the EU sorted before you spend money we haven't yet earned to make a name for yourself in the History Books, other than that of a complete lying prat, as you are now.
For the question should be asked
If the Railways are so important, why have you let them get into this state? the EU didn't stop you putting things right, yet what did you do?
Sell them off into in many cases Foreign hands.
As for the Buses, under the Conservatives the decline in services has been a disgrace, and cycles?
Imagine the irony of us not being able to make something as simple as a bicycle on a massive scale and having to buy them from China.
Not a Good start Boris

Farage is making comments Boris will find unwelcome !
https://www.lbc.co.uk/radio/presenters/nigel-farage/nigel-farage-suggests-pm-has-ties-to-china-after-h/

"
Nigel Farage exposed the Johnson family's close relationship with China and Huawei and how it has influenced PM Boris Johnson's decision to involve Huawei in the UK's 5G network.

Nigel started by questioning those involved in talks between the British government and Huawei, including former Prime Minister David Cameron.
He went on to say the immediate family of the Prime Minister are all involved in projects including China and the Huawei network.
Nigel mentioned the PM's father, Stanley Johnson meeting with the Chinese ambassador and then sent a message to the environment minister that the Chinese felt the PM hadn't sent a proper personal message to Beijing, implying Boris Johnson father is acting on behalf of the Chinese government to pass messages between them and his son.
Mr. Farage went further to point out that the Prime Minister's stepbrother worked in Beijing and now runs a fund to raise money for Chinese businesses to invest internationally. Furthermore, Nigel continued with brother Jo Johnson, who went to a university specialising in telecommunications during his time as Universities Minister.

"The one thing the Johnson family are not split on is they're all massively pro China or involved with China"
......................................
He's only bitching because he's heard of the new pay rise in the House of Lords and Boris wouldn't make him one!

Cabinet reshuffle: Remainers back in favour, but Boris Johnson steers clear of top table 'revolution'
Theresa Villiers is expected to be sacked, leaving just Priti Patel as the only member of the Cabinet who voted against Theresa May's deal

Brexit LIVE: Javid says EU will CRUMBLE in trade talks - just like they did on Brexit deal
SAJID JAVID has issued a scathing attack on the EU and boasted of his confidence at the bloc crumbling in trade talks - as they did on the Brexit deal.

Hang on a minute "crumbling"? what happened was Boris accepted an EU earlier offer that TM had rejected.
So the "Crumbling" was done by Boris in reality.

But,Brexit voters are too dumb t realise that is what happened aren't they?

that just reflects reality.
If you could clearly see the difficulties, you would avoid the hard slog.

Prime Minister Boris Johnson has announced that the controversial HS2 high-speed rail link will be built. @NickFerrariLBC asks: Is this good news for the country? https://pic.twitter.com/S8yiCJaERz

My response?
Since we have no steel industry or ability to make trains, the Germans will do very nicely and probably end up owning it as they do most of the rail network already, or will it be the Chinese? or Japanese?

Boris probably lied.
No need for the word probably. BJ like Trump is a proven liar, sad state of affairs when he is preferred to JC in the election though. If Labour can't beat a known liar I wonder if they will ever get into power again under the present first past the post system.

BJ will have to make a total shambles of the next 5 years and Labour select anyone other than RLB as their next leader to have the slightest possibility of victory at the next election.
