Brilliant inner tube idea for hub drives

The following inner tube isn't specifically designed for hub drive inner tube replacement, but it's certainly worthy of note. Just a shame that there doesn't seem to be other sizes.

I'll bet you could make your own with a bit of ingenuity.
I can remember in my youth (many years back) cutting through a badly punctured tube and knotting the two ends as a "get me home" measure. This was before I realised the importance of carrying a good tool kit and puncture outfit, at least I had a pump!
maybe worth carrying one for that dark rainy muddy time, though it would probably mean destroying your original tube to get it off.
I must experiment with a spare tube.

The end overlapping ones have been found to self puncture due to abrasion, so best avoided. That butt end one looks useful though.

622/635 is an odd size, right enough, but would it stretch to a 26"?

I think I'd carry one in case, maybe the short one, and be prepared to pack the gap; or the long one and take the chance of failure. It would be a simple get-you-home option and wouldn't be in the tyre for long.
