broken chain

info required please
the chain has snapped on my currie electro drive conversion kit, its about 1/4" wide and 18" long , and i am having great difficulty in finding a replacement. possibly because it is american. i phoned currie in the states, who said they do not ship to england. they have an agent in england (moore large) who said he could not help. probably because it is an old model!
great customer service!
has anyone any ideas?

Try R.S. Components they've got an online store, or failing that see if you have a local branch of Eriks(formally Fenners), I know the chain it's really small.

I've had a look in the R S catalogue and they do American size chain, you will need to measure the width and pitch.

If you've ever seen these mini petrol driven quad bikes being illegally used by kids, some of those use that same small size chain for their main chain, so you could also try:
