Thanks for the prompt reply guys, appreciated.

So, I just returned mine back to factory settings.

I went through the config screens and checked the SW level, 1.3.2.0

I then asked it to check for an update. It found one, went through the update screens etc, then checked the level afterwards.

It stayed at 1.3.2.0

Madness, cannot understand this at all.

Yes, I thought about that earlier on today and tried it on the bike, still no joy I am afraid.

I also reset the machine again and set it up as a brand new user, just in case it was my account etc, still no software update lol

Yes, took me ages to read it all, madness going on over there. I believe it has two years warranty on it, so, I will take it back to the dealer and get them to start investigations etc. Will keep you updated.

if you do get it replaced under warranty i suggest getting rid of it and going back to the old display like eddie.

just too many problems with it ,its to big and costs bucks if you crash and brake it.

id not put it on my bike if you gave it to me for free.

you also get more errors from nyon than you do fitting a dongle to it.

Sorry to disagree but mines been flawless so far and works just fine with or without my dongle....

I also don't think it's too big at all given all the info it provides over a standard display plus the maps.

Guys, I am seriously confused now.

I contacted Bosch via facebook and got the following reply:

Good morning Dave, if you want to update your system please get in touch with your local bicycle dealer. He can update all of your components. The current software version of the drive unit with Active or Performance Line is 1.5.1.0, Nyon ot the 1.3.0.0. Your Bosch eBike team.

So, are we all barking up the wrong tree?

When we read our Nyon units "system info", are we reading the wrong line when we report our "Nyon software version"?

I always thought it was the top line, ie what they call BDU SW Version? But, according the the reply from Bosch, HMI software version, which on mine is at 1.3.0.0

This may explain why some of us are reporting 1.3.2.0 and some are at 1.5.1.0, purely because we are assuming the top line means Nyon, whereas it actually means the Bosch motor and components etc?

Help me understand this guys please?

Thanks...........

Just had a bit more clarity back from Bosch, as follows:

In Nyon, you will find this:

BDU SW Version:
BDU HW Version:
BMS SW Version:
BMS HW Version:
HMI SW Version Front-End:
HMI SW Version Back-End:
Map SW Version:
DU Serial Number:
DU total Milage:

The HMI SW Version Front-End & HMI SW Version Back-End is the software level of your Nyon. If it is a Nyon MY 2015 (article number 1.270.020.907) the software level should be (updated) 1.3.0.0. Your Bosch eBike Team

So, this whole thread has been a waste of time as I was reading the top line as the software level of the Nyon unit, and it is actually the software level of the drive unit (BDU = Bosch Drive Unit).
I guess the HMI stands for Human Machine Interface or something?

So, it appears there is nothing wrong with my Nyon after all!!!.

Classic case of a little bit of knowledge, and too much time on my hands since I retired lol.

Croxden, what software level are you at please?
1.4.1.0.

Is this what you want? I tried to put a photo in but failed to do so.

Agree 100%
I went from standard nyon on the bike too intuvia gotta agree its the best thing i did
Smaller unit which is important on a mtb
Instant on instead of waiting for the nyon too boot up
And just generally more use just having the info you need and not a thing more even the trip is a simple one button reset
Glad the op has it all sorted thou

The important thing is to know how many trees you've saved. Not.

I guess it's horses for courses.
I love my Nyon, it's intimidating at first but now i know it inside out I wouldn't take a step backward for anything!

For what it's worth mine is used on road only and the small increase in size is of no consequence to me.

Lastly as I've said before, I've not experienced any issues with my Nyon and it's certainly far better than my previous yamaha display.
