This sort of thing will only encourage the use of dangerous buses e-scooter rental company commissioned studies warned us about.

Hopefully this will stimulate other local authorities who've suffered these accidents and associated illegal uses to act similarly to discourage their adoption.

Having said that I fear the government has already made it's mind up and suspect the trial has only been a sham, such is their keenness to get people using alternative transport.
