On cycle republic and halfords website, it says larger 11ah battery can be used in a vengeance, but I noticed the block of the battery holder below the battery is larger in the crossfire.
Anyone kniw why that is?

Yeh, I understand that, but why has the crossfire got a larger block that the controller sits in?
I want to buy the bigger battery and halfords do say it fits the vengeance, but I need to know for sure.

You'll just get the battery and it will go into the existing cradle. They use a different controller which is why one might need less space
