I tested my battery earlier today and it had 48v.
I tested it 3 hours later ad it was showing 1.2v.
I know this was pretty empty but is that normal for the voltage to drop away like that in a LiFepo4 battery?

The voltage should never drop below 31 volts, the bike's controller or BMS will stop usage by then, just by cutting off power.

I doubt the battery has got that low though, it sounds like a faulty connection at or before the measuring points, just showing some leakage current.

I think this is something to do with the BMS.
I had previously unplugged and reconnected both black connectors which are between the BMS and battery but it was no good, i tried it a few more times and now and the voltage was showing again on the charge wires.
