Brand new 17aH batteries for only £210 from a trusted seller with three month guarantee.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/E-bike-battery-36V-17Ah-Silver-fish-BRAND-NEW-Bargain-price-/201100602052?

If your bike has a silver fish battery, and the bottom looks different, you can swap the whole bottom plastic piecee to make it fit. It takes about 5 minutes. If you don't have a silver fish battery mount, you can always take the cell-pack and BMS out and make your own case.

Gens Ace are a wel-known brand. They used to sponser the forum.

I told you it was a trusted seller.

The Oxygen brand is now mainly owned by the South Yorkshire Electric Bike Centre. You can expect to see some very nice new bikes soon. I've seen the photos.

These are Gen Ace lipo cells. So similar to what you'd find in hobby king. I haven't seen any data chat about these cells, so what the seller is saying has to be taken with cautions

That's not right, Cwah. Gens Ace also make normal ebike batteries. This one has their own prismatic LMNC or something like that.

They're rated at 20 amps continuous, so should be easily good enough for an A2B.

Can the cells be removed and put into a rear rack alloy battery case? Will it fit?

The cells are in a block. There's ten of them, but I can't remember how they're joined. In theory, you could dismantle and reconfigure one if you can do soldering and wiring, but I haven't done it on one of those. It's possible that the cells are glued together. The cell-pack wouldn't fit in a rack battery case without reconfiguring.

probably in two groups of 5 cells, each group will have a small PCB to connect the pouches together. Just a guess, they're roughly the size of the largest blue brick, top right. Gens Ace is grepow lev.

Thanks d8veh for that.

Am I right that these batteries will not fit on converted mountain bikes?

You can use them on any type of bike as long as you can join two wires and find a place to put it.

If you don't like Ebay, you can buy direct from the seller:

Just a reminder, whenever you get a new battery, you should always check the polarity of the contacts with a meter. It's very easy to swap them over if they're wrong. If you connect the wrong way, you'll wipe out your controller.

Here's a picture of the insides, which look pretty neat and well-made.
