Hi All,
I've bought 3 years ago a front wheel with a motor for my bike (350W) it's worked fine and I need today to replay the battery back that is called frog style battery back (it's not French though).

I try to find a battery on this Internet and it seems there is only BMS which is selling batteries.
i.e.
little frog

I found the characteristics of my actual battery on the Internet and got those figures:
Code:
D×W×H:245×147×85mm
Nominal Voltage: 25.9V
Nominal Capacity: 9.5Ah
weight: <3.35kg
Inetrnal Resistance:≦75mΩ
Discharge Voltage Limit:2.7V(any cell)
Protected Charge Voltage:4.25V(any cell)
Charge Voltage Limit:29.4V
Max Charge Current:2A
Max Discharge Current:20A
Nominal Discharge Current:10A
Charge Method:CC/CV(special charger)
Capacity@1c rate:≧9.5Ah
Cycle Lift:500times
Not sure which figure I need to check to ensure my battery is compatible. I understand it should be a Voltage but can anyone confirm it is the "Nominal Voltage" ?

Many thanks,
Sofiane

The 15ah frog battery from BMSBattery is a good solution as a replacement for your bike. You'll be able to go a lot further with it. The shiping cost is relatively high and you'll most likely have to pay about £30 duty; however, youll be lucky to find a 15aH one cheaper from a reliable supplier. No warranty though.

You should always check with a voltmeter because there's no standard; however, I think that there's a very good chance that it'll be correct because you get a new base for the battery as well, and the design of the base (the switch arrangement) makes it easier to wire one way. It's relatively easy to change the wires in the battery over anyway if they don't match. If you connect with reverse polarity, your controller will go pop!

As long it is not the battery that pops, should be alright :)
I think I will go for it. I didn't find a battery in London less than £300 (more than twice the price :s).
