Conditioning new battery

Can anyone explain what is the best way to condition a new battery. Freego have replaced my faulty battery & charger, but the instruction manual is not very clear. It is a 10 ah Li-Ion battery.

Am I right in thinking I should run it down completely 3 times beofre just topping up?

Then use it to your hearts content!

Although it wouldnt surprise me if the factories already do a few cycles to test them.

Do they need to be discharged completely, or is 80-90% enough?

Ideally fully just so any 'fuel gauge' that may be incorporated into the BMS is fully reset and zeroed out. Full battery capacity will be reached even with partial discharges/charges...
