Connecting the rechargable battery cables. Black and red

37335I bought a second rechargable battery from fiido for d2. The cables on the new battery have slightly different but similar connectors. Can I connect these together and just tape them? Also the 2nd battery came with the ad

Also the 2nd battery came with the ac input connected to the battery. Can I charge with this outside the bike? Without it connected up to the rest of the bike I mean. Thanks

It's not clear why you're messing about with that connector because the battery just slides into the frame without any wires. Are you saying that the new battery doesn't fit the receiver plate, so you have to swap receiver plates?

You have to connect the new battery to the connector plate

Incase anyone wanted to know in the future. The cables connected fine with electrical tape and works like a charm! I'm also able to charge the other battery outside the bike as it came with an ac input connected to it. Takes about 5mins to change over the batteries.
