There are always lots of threads about what is the best controller for a DIY build which made me wonder if there are any benefits to updating the controller on a standard bike. I have a rather elderly 905 and wondered if it would benefit from an upgrade.

Yes. You get five levels of PAS, a nice LCD and a much quieter motor for about £60 (£100 UK price). The power will be the same.

Because they are mostly sine wave and not square wave controllers now.
