Cost of tensioning and trying a wheel

Is there a general going rate for tensioning and truing a wheel? Had my rear wheel done today. Costing £20 

Evans Cycles charge £13.50, which i think is about typical. £20 sounds expensive.

I'd say that's a fair price for a good job. Bicycle shops still have substantial overheads to cover, especially in town premises.
