I'm hoping someone who owns a 19" framed hardtail can help me out here.

All it requires is some basic Blue Peter skills ;)

Could you get an A4 piece of paper and fold the width so that it measures 150mm or 5.9 inches.

This should leave you with a shape approx. 300mm x 150mm or 11.8 x 5.9 inches.

Don't worry that the length works out slightly shorter than the above dimensions, it'll do :D

Now holding the piece of paper with the flat side facing you, insert it into the triangle frame of your bike and see if it will fit.

Doesn't matter how it's orientated. Along the underside of the top bar or along the bottom bar will do.

I'm trying to see if a battery of this size will fit into a 19" frame.

Anyone???

My top frame is a but curved so it's slightly different. Anyway my measure kente went exact but the vertical way it wouldn't fit. The length is to much. It will only fit if it's half the width of an a4 piece of paper.

The other way across the top tube it could almost fit the full size paper. Even with the odd shaped top tube.

Thanks Alan B and Scottyf.
Even though the measurements do squeeze into the frame, I've got a feeling that with the frame bag's padded edges, it'll be too tight.
Back to the drawing board me thinks
I don't want to get the next frame size up, as the velcro straps holding the bag to the frame will be too stretched.
It's gotta be snug for I'll be riding this beast across some evil terrain
