Help! Coyote connect 980 led handlebar dispaly replacement

Does anyone know what can be used to replace the 980 display which has failed due to broken wires and not repairable. 790 geta the bike going but seems to give only two power settings. Or advice on what to check out on 790, which had identical plug into the controller wiring. Many thanks.
