Took my new pride and joy out this Morning with the other half on her normally aspirated hybrid, Around Ten miles in and we somehow clipped each other while riding side by side in a flash i am in the gutter my Wife is in the road (country lane) both uninjured, except scraped elbow, shoulder kness etc. We were travelling 16mph and at 57 years old the tarmac road hurts;).
The scott ebike is also relatively undamaged, scratched rear rack, brake lever, kickstand and handle bar grips, i must say they are well made and bounce very very well, i have give it a good check over and everything else looks good, it is not new now !!!
Bike rode brilliantly we rode 20 miles, and i am really pleased with how it climbs(Turbo) and on the flat it is absolutely effortless in eco mode.
A nice cup of tea now, cos my elbow and knee aches

Ouch

The older you get, the more it hurts. It takes longer to mend as well.

Glad you are both relatively unscathed - and the bikes of course.
