Hi Folks - I have just spent £280 on re-celling my Ezee Torq battery to a 15Ah one by Jimmy of BGA reworking ( http://www.bga-reworking.co.uk/insat-li-nmc-ebike-battery-10ah-24v-36v-48v.html ) and was wondering if I could use it on any other makes of ebike as I'm keen on getting a mid-drive bike.

Can anyone tell me if the Ezee case has the same connection set up (ie prongs into slots in correct allignment) as any of the other major players? If not, does anyone know of any sort of adaptor footplate or anything that would adapt to crosss-compatibility??

Many thanks for any info, Phil.

Generally, the answer is no. IIRC, Ezee has its pins fore and aft, while as most other bikes have theirs from side to side.

It wouldn't take much to fabricate an adapter plate that goes under the battery to make the electrical connection, though you need to think about how to stop the battery from jumping up and down over bumps.

The connector plate on the Ezee battery is a separate unit that slides off the battery case after removing two end screws as shown below, so that will facilitate making an adapted centre with different connector forms:

thanks both of you - but sounds difficult to design an easy transfer to and fro between different bikes type of solution
maybe I should shelve that idea!
