I mentioned before that one of our folders developed a noise. I phoned Sports hq who were very polite and arranged collection 2 days later. collection went as planned. One week and two days later the bike was returned. It`s not the same bike and judging by the tyres it hasn`t been used. The battery is my old battery.
Possibly from transport there are a couple of marks on the frame and a small dent on the front mudguard(nothing serious and I will easily sort it.) The chainring is distorted somewhat and would need to be removed and straightened but I will be putting the 55 tooth ring and crank back on that the bike was running on before I sent it off so no problems.
On the road the bike runs fine and the motor is like new( well I think it is new anyway)
I phoned during the period it was away to get an update as to what was happening and was told someone would ring me back and they did 15 mins later. They said it would probably be back with me today and it was( sent by next day)
They were polite and treated me like a person rather than a number.
So, decent aftersales just like the aftersales from Alien, they care, they phone and Jim talks to you like he would want to be talked to.
Now we all know that things go wrong even with the best of the best(annoying as it is) but aftercare like from the above companies takes the sting out of the problem.
