Want to get the good lady a bike computer for Christmas. Looking at the Garmin Edge 200 at £70 and the Edge 25 at £95 pounds. We're only really part-time bikers, mainly when on holiday, we take the bikes with us in our old motorhome.
So my question is, and not knowing too much about these, is it worth paying the extra £25 for the Edge 25 because it seems they both do much the same thing.
Thanks for any help and suggestions.

Edge 200 is older tech - fine but lacks some of the refinements of the newer Garmin range.

Edge 20 is the direct replacement for the 200 - it uses Glonass as well as GPS so gets a quicker satellite lock when you switch on (well worth having). £80

Edge 25 is the next one up and enables you to connect sensors (heart rate / cadence) and a phone for wireless uploads / notifications. (I get text messages and incoming call notifications on my Edge 520 - I assume the 25 is similar, but could be wrong).

All are good - it depends what you want it for. You will probably find lots of edge 200s for sale second hand on ebay and the like if you want to save a few quid.

None of these do "proper" Navigation if that's what you want (you need to go higher up the Garmin range for that).
