Hi...I'm visiting Cambridge next week.... (Great Shelford) and wondered if anyone could put me onto a good cycle path...20/30 miles round trip ... traffic free.

Recently discovered http://www.cyclestreets.net/ with free android app which will give good guidance on cycle routes wherever one may be, worth a look.

From a brief glance, I wonder if you could ride into town from where you are, ride out in a different direction for about the same distance, and then head back directly to where you started.

I imagine you mean on normal traffic busy roads....this's what I'm trying to avoid
....When I'm on my home ground I have a good idea where roads lead to but I find it very difficult cycling in strange areas
